With these materials, you can probably imagine what we're going to do, right? If not, don't worry, here are the assembly instructions:

Cut the bottle necks just below the screw cap.
Sand the edges to remove any plastic residue and check that they fit together.
Glue the bottle necks together (we will place the bud inside them).
Using paper and a pen, make a template of the caps and mark with a dot where each nail will go. This will prevent the nail points from colliding when assembling the two parts of the grinder.
Once the template is ready, use it to place the nails in the caps with the help of a hammer.

With this, your handmade grinder will be ready. All you have to do is place the bud inside the glued bottle necks, put the caps with nails on the ends, and turn them in opposite directions.

With a very similar process to the previous one, you can make a metal grinder.

You will need:

2 cans.
Screws or self-tapping screws.
1 cylindrical plastic container that is the same diameter as the can.
Marker.
Scissors.
Screwdriver.
Awl.

The procedure is as follows:

First, cut the cans in half with scissors. You will use both bottom halves, which are the ones without the opening.
Insert the plastic cylinders inside to give more rigidity to what will be your grinder.
With the marker, mark the points where the screws will go.
Make the holes to insert the screws with the awl.
With the screwdriver, place each screw or self-tapping screw in the corresponding place.

As you can see, the result is practically the same as the previous one, with the difference that this version of a homemade grinder is a little more resistant.

If you don't have the time or desire to make a grinder, you can always resort to objects you have at home to grind. These are some of the alternatives to easily shred cannabis.

✅ 1. Your hands

The simplest way to shred is to use your own hands.

Take the weed with one hand, place the bud between your index and ring finger, and start breaking it apart.

Place your other hand underneath to catch everything that falls.

You might have to repeat the process several times to completely break up the bud, but with a little patience, you'll get it done. Just be prepared for your hands to be covered in resin.
