If it starts to bubble, it indicates that the product is of good quality. Furthermore, the highest quality hash will ignite instantly when it comes into contact with the flame.

However, if the hash turns black when doing so, it will have contaminants that have burned along with the resin. On the other hand, if no bubbles appear, we will have a low-quality product in our hands, or one with too many contaminants.

Another fundamental test to check quality is simply to observe the smoke it gives off. If we see that it ignites very easily and releases a lot of smoke, we are probably dealing with hash that has been adulterated with resin, or that has a high proportion of plant remains. If, on the other hand, it takes effort to ignite and does not produce too much smoke, we are dealing with a product whose proportion of plant matter is low, making it high quality.

Rub the Hash Between Your Hands

This check is very simple: you just have to take a small piece of hash and rub it between your hands until it is very thin, like spaghetti. If it doesn't break or crumble in the process, we are dealing with a quality product.
